=D It's 4a.m. again. Assignmenting again. Mind is floating away to anywhere other than the work at hand.
I should say there is a standing apology for never updating this thing because it only ever gets updated when I get distracted enough and need to vent a little.
I can't even remember the last time I actually wrote here though so I won't even try to catch up lest I spend these last few hours writing this instead of actually doing the 2 reports i'm supposed to be doing XD;;
As everyone has pretty much already summarized Supernova was pretty awesome. It was better than I remember it being last year but that might just be because it tuned me into Dr. Horrible's Singalong Blog Some how it has consumed far too many hours of my life to point where i can now sing most of the songs and do so to the lament of my friends and family.
BACK TO PROCRASTINATION! T-minus 3hours 30minutes before both reports need to be finished... Maybe one day I'll learn to do things before the night before things are due.

First off XD I must apologize for being by far the worst ever at keeping this thing updated and there is no real excuse, I just suck like that.
It's 3:30am and am at uni in the Eng comp labs bored brainless. The rest of my group has gone home (And also taking away the healthy bit of distraction that was keeping me motivated) basically giving up on the assignment worth 100% of the unit but I refuse to die without a fight! The computers are a little shoddy so I might head home and do the rest there but there is a small amount of comfort in the fact that there are still a baker's dozen of other people from other groups still here working on the same assignment.
This is a sad reflection of what my life has been like for the last week or so XD;;; The moral of the story is "DON'T LEAVE THINGS TO THE LAST MINUTE" *sagely nod + face plant*

Profession Exam tomorrow at 2:30pm and there is an INTENSE lack of preparation stress or caring. I don't even know whether I'll go to bed early or not since the exam is in the afternoon...

On a side note: Finally have my full license finally (Minor Celebration time \=D/) I waited two months for them to send me it and then found out my license actually expired a while ago and have been driving without a valid license /whoops =P
So went in and did it the old fashioned way. Kudos to the staff at the counter though, less than a 1person/min so didn't even wait 10 minutes.

Profession is the bludgiest subject ever created. It's about HOW to write a report.... and HOW to do presentations... It's 4 weeks of high school made into a uni subject. Currently sitting on 90% somehow even though none of us have been to a lecture all semester and assignments have ALL been started and finished on the day they were due. <- Either our tutor is blatantly favouring us or the tutor is just picking on the first years for not having much confidence in public speaking >_>
Anyway, Exam timetable D= Only three this semester though, which I am very glad for. Also, very spread out so plenty of time to study and go to the gym in between =D.

THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,

Had just settled down for a long winter's nap,
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below,
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer,
With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;
"Now, Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!

A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread;
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings; then turned with a jerk,
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose;
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night."

Does anyone else get random bouts of insomnia? This is a serious question here =P.
I had work til 10pm yesterday and I have work in just over 3 hours but I can't sleep at all and for no good reason. It's not like I'm really thinking about anything and Sixpence None The Richer - Kiss Me keeps running through my head because there was a car full of people at work who were belting this out and dancing in their car while they were waiting for petrol and it was hilariously awesome XD;;;;

Linkin Park.... Screaming.... Moshing.... PURE AND UNDENIABLE AWESOME!
Chester got so into it he broke his wrist! We were worried about him as well as for the rest of the night but then he came back on after less than 5 minutes and just said "Well, if it's broken then I can worry about it in an hour." He is so freaking cool! Then they played Numb <- I love this song. He kept singing and screaming like only he can, the whole time you could tell he was really in pain but sucked it up and gave a great performance. I liked Linkin Park before, but after tonight I think I'll appreciate their music on a whole new level.

OMG THERE IS A SWARM OF BEES IN MY KITCHEN!!!! D= They're getting in through the air vent from outside and they keep coming in no matter how many I kill... I am not going into the kitchen until they either decide to leave or I get fed up and start a fire to smoke them away <- works, even though it gets you stung a couple of times.
I hate bees.... haaaaaate bees...... >_

Whoa, 11 weeks since I posted anything. Shows what assignments and work does when you have little to no time management skills. Sorry to the few people who are actually on my friend's list XD;;; I am trying to catch up with what is happening, though I may skip over the whole "LJ is becoming too screwed up" posts because honestly I have no idea.
Anyway, working 21 hours a week, meeting a lot of really nice people and seeing a lot more real dickheads. My optimism has taken a real beating this last few weeks, faith in the general public is at an all time low so I'm really glad to have friends who are genuinely good people.
On the up side, LINKIN PARK! Work has it's benefits, I can afford to go to LP in October =D. Mike and I are going to hit the mosh pit. It is going to be awesome!

Just a general whinge. Victor has stolen my car, I rue the day he got his license, so I had to walk home from work today. It is cold, when I got home there was condensation all over my jacket and my hair is wet even though it wasn't raining. Book-keeping has informed me that I will be working a crap load after my exams (Including the night after my last exam) and the friend that I made at Coles Express during training seems to have been fired... poor guy never showed up on time because he lives an hour away and mixed up alot of cash register stuff.
On the up side I got a TIP today XD I didn't know people actually gave tips at petrol stations, on the down side I wasn't allowed to keep it and it ended up as a positive variance for the shop =(.

I have a test tomorrow on Groundwater =D. I was/am slacking off and turned on the TV to find Numbers on TV just in time to hear Charlie say he could calculate the the groundwater flow for the FBI =D. It was the like the world was trying to say something to me but I kept watching anyway only to hear his new boss say Groundwater calculations are "Not exactly high end maths." =( at which point everything about Eng disappeared except the random term like aggregate and algorithms. <- suckerpunch to the ego...

=D I am all sore and blistered and injured and feeling just a little proud of myself today. Last night was mixed Netball training, it was so intense that I was limping for most of the morning. Once it felt better, met up with Robin who had organised a friendly spar with an amateur boxer. I ended up having a go with Damien, he decided to use jiujitsu on me and I didn't realise XD;; I kicked him lightly a few times and wondered why he wasn't fighting back then he did an arm bar on me. It hurts to move my left arm too much now. Having said that a couple of hours later I beat Bertram (6'1" aspiring firefighter who has 10kilos on me) in an arm wrestle. <- major macho trip, I think I'm going to be sore for the rest of the week.
Also, I got sent this chain letter today.
